I use some of your icons?
Of course you can; I wouldnt put them online if I didnt want people to use
them - you dont need to ask me for permission - consider it already given!
Can
I edit your bases?
Yes, you can! You do not need to credit for bases if they have been drastically
altered - just adding text doesnt count. However, if you have used some of my
bases, and intend on posting the icons on an icon community for other's to use,
please include either a link back here, or a link to my icons
journal so other's can get the bases should they want them.
How
do I credit you?
By putting 'syndarys' or 'syndarysicons' in your Keywords, Interests, Userinfo,
Bio, or a public post on your journal. If you want, you can use one of the banners
in the linkage section.
Why
should I credit you?
Because it's a common courtesy, and it would make things alot easier for you
- you wont have to keep telling people who made the icon you are using! And,
I put alot of time and effort into making these icons, so it is only fair
that I get credit for that.
Where
did you get the pictures for ___ icon?
I get my pictures from a variety of places; usually random fansites I come
across. Non-actor/film pictures usually come from GettyImages,
where as Lord Of The Rings pictures usually come from TheOneRing.net,
and Harry Potter pictures come from either Mugglenet,
or The Leaky Cauldron.
Most of the images used in the Monty Python icons are screencaps I made myself,
and I also rely on screencaps from my fellow icon makers for other fandoms
aswell.
How
do you do an effect like the one in ___ icon?
You can find tutorials on creating various effects used in my icons in the tutorials
section.
What
programs do you use?
I use Paintshop Pro mainly, though I have been known to dabble in Photoshop.
Will
you make me an icon/a set of icons/friends only banners, etc?
I generally do not take requests anymore. I do take the occasional request or
suggestion, but I will refuse if any of the following is happening:
Christmas
Easter
Big Movie Premieres
I'm ill
I'm on a weekend away
There's a Movie/Sci-Fi Convention on
And various other things... you should also note that I have a full time job now, and cannot update the site, nor make graphics as often as I used to.

have a problem with ___ icon(s), I demand that you take it(them) down!
While I respect that you may have a problem with some of my icons, I will
not take them down. I will not deprive people of icons that they may find
perfect for their needs, just because a minority of people find it offensive.
As I say on the main page; you should never take life too seriously, and so
you should do the same with this site.
Where is your website hosted/how much do you pay for hosting?
My site is hosted by http://www.100webspace.com. I started off on the free plan, but after four months, my monthly bandwidth allowance was starting to look rather bleek; on the 27th of one month, I found that I only had 195MB bandwidth left for the rest of the month, and had used nearly 200MB the day before. I decided that I had to upgrade. I'm currently on the Personal Pro plan, which costs $95.40 per year. Which is why any sudden urges my wonderful visitors have to donate money toward the upkeep of the site are completely welcome, and much appreciated!
