Art Colourizing
Tutorial
This tutorial
is for Painshop Pro. (The caps are from PSP8, but it also works in PSP7)
In this tutorial,
we'll be learning how to create art colourized pictures. For example:

To start off
however, we're going to use this image of Ron Weasley:

First thing you need to do, is convert the image to grey scale. You do this
by selecting Image>Greyscale from the top menu:

Now you need to increase the color depth - do this by selecting Image>Increase
Color Depth>16 Million Colors (24 Bit), which is located above 'Greyscale':

Duplicate the background layer.

Now, you need to select the area you want to colourize. Do this by using
the Selection Tool on Freehand:

Zoom in to about 400-500%, so that it makes it easier to make the selction.
Select around Ron's hair carefully:

Now zoom out to 100%. Now, you need to colourize it. How to do that is covered
in the colourizing tutorial. Choose
a night bright orange colour (Hue: 18, Saturation: 200). It should look like
this now:
Now, you can leave it as that, or you can continue colourizing, to give it
an "Andy Warhol" effect. It would be a good idea to create a new
layer for each colourized section. I went ahead and went quite mad, and continued
colourizing. This was the end result:
